Claudia Gheorghe (MSc HES-SO) Holds a Master’s degree in Information and Communication Technology from the HES-So (MSE) Switzerland.

Claudia is responsible for the development of software solutions at Sercalo. 

 

 

Damien Morend - SercaloB.Sc. Damien Morend (Process Engineer)

Holds a degree in Systems Engineering from the HES-So Valais-Wallis of Sion/Switzerland.

Damien works at Sercalo in production and test software programming and MEMS magnetic mirror production.

 

 

Birgit Marxer - SercaloPh.D. Birgit Marxer (HR & QMS MANAGER)

Birgit Marxer holds a degree in Geography from the University of Lausanne. In 1993 she joined the Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences at the University of Geneva where she earned her Ph.D. in 1999.

She joined Sercalo in 2000 and has been in charge of HR ever since. Since 2017 she also assumes the responsibility of Quality Assurance Manager.

 

Grégoire Perregaux - Sercalo Grégoire Perregaux - MSc EPFL - Senior Process Engineer

Grégoire Perregaux (MSc EPFL) holds a degree in Microtechnology from Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale in Lausanne.

He joined Centre Suisse d'Électronique et de Microtechnique in 1990, Colibrys in 2001 and Sercalo in 2012. As an R&D engineer, he worked in various positions in the field microsystem technology.

He is involved in developing, assembling, testing and qualifying MEMS devices.

 

Vincent Kuenlin - Sercalo Vincent Kuenlin - MSc EPFL- Senior MEMS Engineer

Holds a degree in Microtechnology from the Ecole Polytechnique of Lausanne with specializations in Optics and Space Technologies.

Since 2013, Vincent works at Sercalo where he is in charge of the development of magnetic actuated components and programming a various number of production and test software.

 

Christophe Auvigne - SercaloChristophe Auvigne - MSc EPFL, PhD - Senior Electronics Architect

Hols a degree in Microtechnology in robotics branch from the Ecole Polytechnique of Lausanne, where he also earned a P.h.D in 2015 in contactless power transfer systems applied to electric vehicle charging stations.

From 2015, Christophe works at Sercalo where he is in charge of the electronics and embedded software of the magnetic mirror products.

 

Alexis Wettstein - SercaloAlexis Wettstein - Production Manager

With 10 years experience in MEMS and optics product, as Senior Product Manager at Sercalo, Alexis lead departments and teams handling orders, shipping, manufacturing, and QC functions and work in close collaboration with QA, R&D, as well as sales and marketing.

He is responsible for managing, operating and developing Sercalo manufacturing unit, enabling supply of quality products globally. In addition to secure manufacturing of current products, Alexis is responsible for implementing processes for smooth design transfer of new products and contribute to support the "Business and Customers" needs with flexibility, quality and timely delivery.

 

Peter Herbst - SercaloDipl. Ing. Peter Herbst (CTO)

Holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering, also earned a M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from TU-Wien in 2003. Between degrees, Peter worked in various engineering positions in Austria and San José / USA. In 2003 he worked on the development of the “Projection Focused Ion Beam”, a novel lithography tool. In 2004 Peter joined Sercalo where he has developed a broad range of new MEMS components and assemblies for industrial, communication and aero-space applications. As Chief Technical Officer, he currently leads the Sercalo Research & Development Team in Neuchâtel.

 

Donat Marxer - SercaloDR. Donat Marxer (CFO)

Holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering and a degree in Business Administration from the University of Innsbruck / Austria, where he also earned his Ph.D. in 1989. From 1987 – 1995 Donat worked for Hilti Inc. holding senior management positions in Liechtenstein, the US and throughout Asia. Since 1995 he is an independent entrepreneur in Liechtenstein. He also serves on the board of different public and private corporations in Liechtenstein and Switzerland. In 1999 he co-founded Sercalo with his brother Cornel. As Chief Financial Officer he is in charge of contractual and financial activities. He is leading the Sercalo site in Schaan / Liechtenstein.

 

Cornel Marxer -  SercaloDR. Cornel Marxer (CEO)

Holds a degree in Microtechnology from Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale in Lausanne. In 1994 he joined the group of Prof. de Rooij at the University of Neuchâtel where he earned his Ph.D. in 1997. In 1999 he founded Sercalo Microtechnology Ltd. with the goal of bringing MEMS developments from Academia to Industry. As Chief Executive Officer, Cornel Marxer is leading the Sercalo Site in Neuchâtel / Switzerland.
