Sercalo works on different MEMS components for custom applications such as in Bio-Medical, Industrial and Aero-Space fields.
Main examples span from precision mechanical parts fabricated by Silicon Micromachining technologies to 3d MEMS micromirrors which are actuated by electrostatic actuation.
Sercalo's 3D MEMS micro-mirror has low drift and can rotate into two different angles (+/-α, +/-β). It is available in a varity of designs and configurations such as a single mirror or a “Multi-Mirror” array.
The MEMS 3D micro-mirrors are used for:
- precise optical beam steering
- in tunable filters
- Error Correction in Optical Assemblies
- Vibration control
